UFO No1 is a company that harnesses the strength of internet marketing. Utilising the latest technology UFO No1 in its simplest form accesses the sales margin currently provided by internet resellers to its agents and distributes a proportion of the money back to a school selected by the individual spending the money on the internet.
The concept of affiliate marketing or commission based sales is not new and since the start of money based trading, people have offered discounts to increase their sales. The internet is no different and companies pay between 6% - 25% of the sales value to owners of websites who want to advertise their products. Thus a website providing book and music reviews will have buttons on their site that take the user to Amazon where they buy the books or CDs that are being reviewed. This will provide the review site typically with 32p on a sale price of £7.99.
UFO No1 has linked over 175 different companies together in a website providing a transparent shopping experience. This website is based on Microsoft technology that is stable and massively scaleable providing the platform that will allow schools to generate revenue outside the normal avenues available to schools.
How it works
Users will register with UFO No1 and will nominate up to three schools for their commission to be shared to. Thereafter by simply accessing and logging onto the UFO No1 homepage, internet shoppers will be able to then go to an affiliate of the scheme ( See the attached current list) where they buy the required item AT THE SAME PRICE as normal and the system will automatically credit the shopper’s school(s) with the value of the commission due.
UFO No1 will provide 70% of the total commission earned before operating costs which will be supplied monthly to all schools whose account has reached £1000. Payment will be 90 days in arrears and monthly thereafter.
